What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese healing method developed in the early 1900s by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki can be understood as universal life energy—a calm, supportive energy that helps the body return to its natural state of balance. Reiki is non-invasive, deeply relaxing, and often used to support emotional well-being, stress regulation, and the body’s self-recovery processes.
How a Reiki & Massage session looks like
Your session begins with a short check-in so we understand how you feel in the moment (stress, fatigue, sleep, emotional load, tension or pain areas). You then lie comfortably on the table, fully clothed for Reiki if preferred, while the therapist works with a calm, grounded presence.
Reiki phase: gentle hand placements on or just above the body to support relaxation and energy flow. Many people feel warmth, tingling, lightness, or a deep sense of peace.
Massage phase: therapeutic touch tailored to your needs—relaxing, releasing muscular tension, and helping the nervous system settle.
The session is always personalized: we can focus more on Reiki, more on massage, or a balanced blend—depending on what your body and mind need that day. You leave feeling calmer, clearer, and more at ease—often with lighter shoulders, a quieter mind, and a sense of emotional release.
